Update as of 11th September: 1.06 crore eligible women beneficiaries are set to receive scheme benefits starting from September 15. On this significant date, Chief Minister M.K. Stalin will launch the Kalaignar Magalir Urimai Thogai (women’s basic income) scheme at Kancheepuram. The Tamil Nadu government has identified 1.06 crore eligible women who will start receiving the financial assistance in their bank accounts on September 15.
