Responsibilities for JIO is Hiring Network Security Engineer L1:
- Proficient in security network devices such as firewalls, switches, SIEM, Antivirus, and cryptography.
- Understanding of information security concepts, standards, and practices including intrusion prevention, TCP/IP, device monitoring, and event reporting.
- Coordinating with operations and senior team members during critical incidents and network outages.
- Strong grasp of TCP/IP, subnetting, routing, access control lists, firewalls, VPNs, NAT, and network traffic analysis.
- Demonstrable analytical skills to identify the root cause of issues.
- Knowledge of Network/Infrastructure Security technologies like firewall management and intrusion detection/prevention.
- Familiarity with OSI Layer 2 and 3, DNS/DHCP, network virtualization, and higher layer protocols like SSL/TLS and HTTP.
- Proficiency in routing, switching, and network security fundamentals.
- Analyzing, troubleshooting, and resolving network and security incidents and problems.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in security network devices and information security concepts.
- Strong coordination and analytical skills.
- Understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, and network security fundamentals.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve network and security issues effectively.
This job requires a solid understanding of network security concepts and technologies, along with the ability to analyze and resolve network and security incidents efficiently.
